You can't just "copy" your Favorites into a Firefox file, Firefox stores that data in a different format than IE uses.

In IE: File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file

then in Firefox: Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... = From HTML file

You can't just "copy" your Favorites into a Firefox file, Firefox stores that data in a different format than IE uses.

In IE: File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file

then in Firefox: Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... = From HTML file
