When I open a new tab it moves to the second place instead of going to the very end. So if I have say 2 tabs open, instead of the new tab being the third one, it will be the second one in the middle. How do I change this so it is like my other computer?

You can do this by changing a hidden preference.

  1. Type about:config into the location bar and press enter
  2. Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
  3. Locate the preference browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent, double-click on it to change its value to false
