I'm sick of wasting a second page each time - surely in this day & age software can query the printer to find out it's default paper size. Firefox seems to be trying to rule the world by defaulting each time it's opened to Letter instead of my Laser printer which is set to A4. I change the size in properties before printing but after I close Firefox it reopens next time set back to Letter - this is stupid.

Try to reset the print prefs on the about:config page.

Some users may need to reset all the print.printer preferences for a particular printer, if resetting this one master preference doesn't solve the problem.)

That fixed it - I Hope - At least it now shows A4 when I start FF & Printer Preferences.

I reset all the print.printer items for the laser & restarted FF.

Thanks
