I cannot download any exe files on Firefox installed on Windows server 2003. I am sure this is due to Windows/IE security "features". Under Firefox 3.5 you could add a setting to ignore these, but for some inexplicable reason this doesn't work with 3.6. Is there any way to force Firefox 3.6 to ignore Windows/IE security settings? Otherwise, I'll need to revert to 3.5 or use IE.

There are ways to bypass it in Firefox 3.5 and Firefox 4, but not in Firefox 3.6. With Firefox 3.6 you need to change the security settings in IE - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737

Thanks. I cannot run beta software on a server, but at least the IE reset solved the particular issue. I will be sticking with 3.5 in future, until 4 is released.
