Have an imac g5, x.4.11 NOT a intel mac. Had firefox 3, downloaded 4, trashed 3. icon had stop sign thru. won't open now have no firefox at all. All this because I didn't have adobe flash player 9, thought I would upgrade all. yeah right

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
