I have a mac G5, mac OS X, version 10.5.8

When I downloaded FF 4 to up greade, the FF icon appears with a circle with a line across and when I try to open it, it says that it's not supported with that architecture.

What should I do?

Sorry, the official version of Firefox 4 is not available for PowerPC Macs.

You can download and re-install the previous version here: http://www.firefox.com/all-older.html

or you can find an unofficial version for PowerPC here: http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/
