I have and XML file that is generated by an IDE that is used to generate embedded software for a DSP. This generates and XML file as part of the linking process which is a memory map of the project being compiled. This XML file displays as tabulated/linked data in Opera/IE/Chrome, but when I open it in Firefox, all i get is just a big list of text, no formatting or anything. I can provide a copy of the file if needed

Did you check the Web (or Error) Console for errors?

A good place to ask questions and advice about web development is at the mozillaZine Web Development/Standards Evangelism forum.
The helpers at that forum are more knowledgeable about web development issues.
You need to register at the mozillaZine forum site in order to post at that forum.

No, can't say that I have. Never used them (or even knew they existed until 10 mins ago). I'll post question on that forum as well. Apologies for the ignorance, but web development is not really my thing. I'm just a hardware engineer who doesn't want to have to run 2 browsers just to view the memory map ;-)

Just had a look and the error console and web console show nothing when I open the file.
