Firefox not able to show the Toolbar. Says to re-install the Toolbar but does not say how

Installed 4.0.1. Message where toolbar should be says "Firefox is not able to show the Toolbar. Please re-install the Toolbar." It does not however tell me how to do that.

Click the orange Firefox button, go to Add-ons, then Plugins and remove the following:


  • Hotbar
  • Hotbar SAI Plugin
  • My Web Search

All three are adware servers and will slow your system down to a crawl. For more info on both see:

As regards the Adobe updates, the versions you have installed at the moment are a security risk. See http://www.adobe.com/support/security/advisories/apsa11-02.html
