Ihave used Firefox for years with great success. But since I updated to Firefox 4.0.1, it has become almost unusable. It is agonizingly slow for me, and crashes constantly. Can I go back to the previous version of Firefox?

I am using windows XP, and have a DSL connection that is not very fast. I think the new version of Firefox may be too complex and have too many things going on for my connection. The last version worked flawlessly. I had no problems until updating to Firefox 4.0.1, but now I can barely use it.
