I needed an update to my old version of Firefox 2. I downloaded the firefox 4 version. And when i finished downloading and putting the icon in the applications folder I tried to press the icon and it gave me a message "you cannnot use the application Firefox with this version of Mac Os X"

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

You are unfortunately out of luck with an Intel Mac and OS X 10.4.11.
