I upgraded to 5.0 and it disabled Norton Symantec, which is very important to me. How do I remove this upgrade and go back to the previous version of Firefox? I am now very worried that Norton is not monitoring my browser, so I want to remove the upgrade.

I called Symantec Norton tech support and they said it is Firefox's problem, not theirs. So who is going to fix this? Is this just a Mac problem? Is this also a PC problem? Does this happen to everyone running Norton? And how do you fix it? Is the update that important? If not, why can't I remove the update and go to the older version? Help really appreciated. Thanks
