My laptop harddrive crashed. I have installed a new hard drive. I want to retreive all Firefox bookmarks and History. Is it possible? I use windows XP
I use a Windows XP Laptop and Firefox browser ( free don't remember the version). My hard drive crashed today 31.07.2011 and I installed a new hard drive with installed Windows XP. I have just downloaded Firefox 5.0.1 ( free version) and would like to retrieve all by previous bookmarks and HISTORY.

Your old Profile is located here in Win XP and W2K:
drive:\Documents and Settings\Windows login user name\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\profile_name
My old drive crashed and has been formatted and the data surely is lost ! Sorry I am not a computer expert. I thought I could retrieve old data from the Mozilla Firefox servers. Where exactly is W2K ??
