I have a Mac and told to download Firefox to help me access an online course whose website was developed for a windows platform. What do I do to get my Mac to work w/the website?

I'm new to Firefox. I was told to download Firefox to help me access a website I'm to use for a course. Unfortunately, I found the course website says I can't access it w/Mac. It says the Website was developed for a Windows platform. Mac people have told me I can try Firefox. I have and it still doesn't give me access to the course material I need for a job. I'm not sure I'm using Firefox correctly. Any suggestions?

You can try installing the User Agent Switcher add-on. This lets you change your browser's "User Agent" header so that it will tell the server that it is a Windows browser.

Thank you for responding. I sort of tried the add on download. I don't think I know enough about what I'm doing. I will raise the issue with the folks I'm taking the course from to see what they suggest. Thanks again.
