Firefox 7. cancels my IP connection
I asked a question about Ff 7. last week, and now that it is required for me to update again, I must repeat my complaint and add an important reason why Ff 7. will hurt my reliable connections.
I updated to Ff 7. 3 days ago but returned to Ff6.2 because Ff 7. excludes the Yahoo! toolbar. AT&T is my ISP, and it happens to be aligned with Yahoo! and its toolbar and apps. My e-mail navigates through Yahoo!
Therefore I can't upgrade to Ff 7. It would cost me my IP connection....So as this is offered to me again, I have little incentive to use it!

The toolbar only provides shortcut to functions. It does not initiate a connection or anything like that.

OK, fmdeveloper,
Thank you for that info.
Then what other way do I have to get the toolbar? Can I simply download it without the Ff add-on through Firefox 7 ?
In other words, is it still possible for me to download Yahoo! toolbar from the Yahoo! site without interfering with Ff 7's functions?
Thank you for elaborating a bit more on this. marlem388
To fmdeveloper:
All right, I figured it out on my own.
I downloaded Yahoo! toolbar 2.4 from its own site--http://toolbar.yahoo.com.
That worked!
So thanks, fmdeveloper, and please pass this info on to anyone else who doesn't know what to do about a missing toolbar!
