Have Windows 7 running on Parallels Desktop with a Mac. Get "setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application" when trying to download a program with Windows Explorer. I can download from these sites with Vista and XP with other computers.

I can download from these sites with Vista and XP with other computers. Now I can't download programs that are supposed to fix the problem! including FoxFire

That did not work. Think IE has something to do with it.
Did you try to download the program as a Mac user and not via Windows?
Downloaded from the Mac side and tried to open in windows, same message. I have Firefox on the Mac.
Do you have any anti-virus software running that might corrupt such downloads?
Do you have problems with downloading other files?
I have AVG on all three windows programs and and computers , only IE 9 or Windows 7 has the problem. I can't download anything now on IE 9 or run it on Windows 7 (except Win update files).
