Please help! My computer crashed yesterday which I think was caused by a firefox update. Now I can't get back on to firefox at all - every time I try to open it I get the crash box and can't even try to start it in safe mode :o(

Can you start in Firefox Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key while doubleclicking the Firefox icon? When you see the "Firefox Safe Mode" window, click "Continue in Safe Mode".

If Firefox runs in Safe Mode, try the suggestions in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) article (get a crash report ID and post it here to get help with the crash) or, for self-help, see Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
