Hi, My laptop is a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo. Processor mobile AMD Sempron 2800+ RAM 512MB. Hard Drive 40 GB. Windows XP SP3 Portuguese. Standard Windows Firewall. Antivirus Microsoft Security Essentials. When I start the Firefox I have to wait almost 20 minutes to became ready.When I surf on the web also is very slow. With firefox 5 and antivirus Avira I haven't this problem. Also when I close my e-mail on the hotmail.com I get a message saying that my web browser is only safe in 2.4 out of 8. Could give me some advice please. I would like keep working with firefox. Tanks, Raul

Please try clearing cache and cookies and history. See Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox for an easy and quick way to do that. Also add-ons could be affecting the startup of firefox. Start firefox inDiagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode and see if you are able to notice and differences.

Mozilla is in a version nbr race with Chrome and IE.

Safari is in V5.

I wish FF would let of the silly race go back to V3.xxxx and make FF viable again.
