When trying to run video clips, eg. from BBC news, sport, etc. the video area just shows the circling arrow and nothing else. This just started since booting up my Vista Home Premium after a few days away. I believe there was a Java update and perhaps a Flash update being indicated at power up, which I accepted in the usual manner. I should add that the same videos work fine on Internet Explorer, but I don't want to go back to that.

hello, that's probably due to the flash update, for common solutions see Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox
