When I go to reply to an email or I try to create a new one, the email address used to be automatically generated or listed...this no longer works. Need to fix it. By the way it does work in Internet Explorer, so its a Mosilla FireFox issue.

Hi,

Please check if this happens in Safe Mode. Safe mode disables the installed Extensions, and themes (Appearance) in Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons. Hardware acceleration is also temporarily disabled - the manual setting is Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Use hardware acceleration when available. All these settings/options/add-ons can also be individually or collectively disabled/enabled/changed in Firefox normal mode to check if an extension, theme, option or hardware acceleration is causing issues. Disabling/enabling hardware acceleration, and some types of add-ons in normal mode may require a Firefox restart.

In Firefox you need to use a button on the button bar above the editor that you use to compose the new mail to create a live, clickable, hyperlink.

Just above the text area that you use to edit the message text on the "Compose New Mail page" there is usually a button bar with buttons to add text formatting like Bold and Italic.
That toolbar usually has a button to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button).
You can select the text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink.
If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each (e.g. Insert hyperlink).

Thanks, but this is not the problem.

When I go to compose a new email or I try to answer an email I just received, I have to manually go out to the address book and look up the name of the person, click on To, CC or BCC and then click on done.....

Actually I just realized that when I go to reply to an email just received and hit "Reply", the screen brings up the form for the reply but the email I got is missing, the autoinsert/enter name function doesn't work and the top bar says "Loading" but it never loads.

Settings like auto insert, address completion etc. have to be specified in the email settings and are stored and loaded from the email server. As these were working previously and no changes were made to the email options, a likely reason could be changes to Firefox settings, add-ons, or cache. You can consider the Reset Firefox feature via Help (Alt + H) > Troubleshooting Information which would help in resolving most common problems though this may not help if there were incompatible code changes on the site, or non standard browser specific enhancements. In this case you can try to use IE View or IE Tab for the site.
