How do I hide history button
I was using Firefox 3.6 with add-on Menu Editor to hide the ability to edit the history. I updated to Firefox 13.01 and installed Menu Editor II Now there is an orange tab in the top left corner of the browser that says 'Firefox' and when I click on it it openly allows access to the History.
I do not want history to be allowed to be deleted or edited. How do I hide the History button? (I've already installed Disable Private Browsing add-on and it still allows editing of History) I am also not worried about any tech savvy people in this house getting around anything--I'm the only one who is a little tech savvy-ish

Have you tried to update the "original" Menu Editor? The latest version should work on Firefox 13: Menu Editor (I haven't tried it myself).

Sorry, the original Menu Editor extension won't be of any help with hiding the History menu item in the menu attached to the orange Firefox button. Definitely no menu items for the Firefox button listed in Options.
It looks to me that no new or changed items have been added to the extension since (like) maybe the Firefox 2 versions. The Bookmarks and History still say "Not Yet Implemented" as they have since Firefox 3.0 was released.
It won't help to hide the History entry.
You will always be able to access the history via the bookmarks manager and via the history side bar (Ctrl+H).
