Version 15.0 was automatically installed on 8/28. It immediately crashed as it tried to start. I uninstalled and reinstalled with the same occurance.

I uninstalled and went back to 14.xxx which ran ok. The next time I ran Firefox it installed 15.0 and crashed. I'm now running chrome.

I attempted to start in Safe Mode. It did not start.

There are no crash reports, either sent or pending. There was no indication of a crash report trying to be sent.

I have tried all your suggestions, no luck. Can you suggest a fix?

Hi Steve,

Sorry you are having problems. Version 15 should be ok, I and many others have been using it for a few weeks. (it is available to test before it is officially released )

I suspect what is happening with you is that something is blocking Firefox. If it was actually crashing it should attempt to send crash reports.

Security related software may not like the fact that some new program is trying to become the default browser. You will need to check security and firewall settings.

If you are actually having crashes then see

and it may help if you send a screenshot
