I am using firefox version 19.0. Under Tools -> Options -> Security, 'Remember Password for Sites' check box was disabled. How to enable it?

Make sure that your not in "Private Browsing Mode"

Type "about:config" in URL and search 'signon.rememberSignons" change the value to true.

Options>Privacy>Exceptions>type the following into the website address at the top of the exceptions window>
