Certainly there are error logs in `about:sync-log`, but, if sync is working, will there be a success log? When I click on the two arrows going in a circle, it says "last sync <day> <time>". Where is the log of that sync? I see only error messages in `about:-sync-log`.

my 2c: "last sync <day> <time>". afaik IS the success log, the Implication being everything that's been asked for, has been successfully synced

I can't find any sync documentation to that effect, or even about how to interpret the sync logs.

I would say, maybe so, maybe not. That's what logs are for, to log the result. Presumably there's another log for successful sync's?

That button is getting that date from *somewhere*, presumable a different log.

Greetings Hawat,

By default, sync-log will only show errors. If a Sync is successful, it will not log. However, you can modify this behavior by:

1. Going to about:config 2. Look up preference name: services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess 3. Set value from "false" to "true"

On your next Sync, you should now see new success logs for Sync in about:sync-log"
