Lost extension options in right click menu since v22.0 upgrade
I upgraded to v22.0 (Linux) the other day and since then I've lost exetnsion options that were previously listed in the right click context menu. I'm not certain which version I was on before but I believe it was v20 and all were working in conjuction together fine.
Notably the missing options are no-script, a link shortener, and DownloadThemAll options. If I disable all the addons and only renable (one by one) no-script, the link shorter and adblock then they will appear. However, enabling DownloadThemAll after has no effect and it will not appear. Further, enabling the subsequent addons will cause a loss of no-script and the link shortener.
It seems as if rather than expanding menu list entries, firefox is removing others to make room in a set amount of lines. The image search options addon, will cause a loss of no-script and the link shortner, but disabling it again does not bring back no-script and the link shortener. Only shortens the menu list as if neither are installed.
How can I get these to appear together in the right click context menu together again?
- edit** I ended up using a menu editor, even though they were all set to display they weren't. However, I disabled a single line that I didn't really need in the menu and all except DownloadThemAll are displaying now. It'll work for now so you can mark this resolved.

Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
Thank you.
In the past I have also experienced this and similar issues with both Linux and Windows systems. I am uncertain whether my discovery will help you and you may have even tried this yourself already. So this may be repetitious to you. You probably know that in every operating system there are two types of settings that are in effect. The first group of settings is at the browser level. The second group of settings works at the level of the operating system. You might try checking that your settings for the extensions are the same in your browser as in your OS. The browser settings may be changed through the browser toolbar (usually), except for a few browsers. At the level of the operating system, these settings are usually changed most easily through the Control Panel. In Windows systems, look for a link in the Control Panel that reads "Internet Options". In other systems, the link may read "Connections", "Preferences", or something to that effect. If you discover discrepancies between your settings at browser vs. OS, then I would go ahead and change the extensions you wish to include and make sure that they are the same at browser and OS levels - this will usually resolve the "bouncing" (e.g. one time an extension appears, then it's gone; then if re-enabled, another one disappears, etc.). Hope this helps, and if this is the issue, and you consistently match extensions, this should resolve these issues permanently.
