What details? The message from firefox updater warned me it would take an action, what details might be relevant to this threatened action? I am running Norton 360, 64 bit IE 10 on windows 7. Will disabling Norton feature in Firefox "browser specific" or will it also disable that feature when I run IE?

Norton will not be turned off at all, just the vulnerability protector will be off in firefox but you are still secured as long as norton is on your system tray, which it will be netherless.
