I recently I to get a new harddrive and when I went to install MineCraft, I was navigated away to another site. It was a sign in page for something called "ZyWall". And thanks to the [string of expletives deleted] touch pad, the "Add exception" button was clicked for the "connection not trusted" warning window. Now I can't seem to get rid of this ZyWall redirect for downloading Minecraft. Is this. ZyWall the product of some virus? Or was it part of the "Updated Ad Blocker for Firefox 11+ 0.7.7" add on.

It's easy to test whether that extension is the problem: disable it, restart Firefox, and test without it.

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category

Based on a quick view of the extension's page on the Addons site, you might skip disabling and go straight to removal...

That ad-on is very much the problem.
