New tab isn't Firefox
When I open a new tab, it doesn't take me to Firefox/Yahoo homepage. Instead, I get a page with 'VAF' and a search box. How do I fix this? I've tried going in and re-setting Firefox as my homepage but there isn't an option to set it for my tabs.

use the search reset tool.

Do the following:
- In the Address bar, type about:config, press enter
- Accept the warning
- search for browser.newtab.url, right click the Result, and click "Reset"

The reset button was shaded; it wasn't an option to click on it.
Try the search reset tool i suggested above, and a addon to change the new tab page.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

If you do not keep changes after a restart or otherwise have problems with preferences, see:
When I went in the add-ons, I saw and disabled the VAF toolbar. No idea what that is or how it got there but now the new tabs just show visited sites. Thanks for all the help!
