When I click on links, I want them to open in another tab. They keep opening in another window, even though I went to the settings to try and change that.

How do I get it to open in tabs instead of windows? I went to Options>>Tabs and unchecked "open new window instead of tab". I can't figure out what else to do.

Please look into your advanced Firefox settings.
To do so, please do the following:

  1. Go to about:config in Firefox
  2. Locate the browser.link.open_newwindow interger
  3. Change the value of this interger to 3

This will tell Firefox to open links that require a new window in a new tab instead.
