How do I turn off ad blocker?

more options

I have a Facebook page. I have people wanting to "like" my page. Facebook is telling me my browser, Firefox in this case needs to turn off ad blocker. My Firefox is up to date and their used to be a bar line that let me block and unblock which is no longer there.

You are using the Adblock Plus extension. To see whether you can create an exception for facebook.com and/or facebook.net, try the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, look for an Options button.

But this is just for you, it doesn't affect other visitors to the page. If they are using an ad blocker, they won't see the button either. More comments along those lines in your other thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/981070
