Firefox 26; Java up to date 1.7.0.45. Upon launching Firefox and navigating to the Google Drive page, I am prompted to install the Java applet for file uploading. SOmetimes this fails and I do it again, which results in successful install. However, once I quit Firefox and then relaunch it later, I am again prompted to install the applet for Google Drive.

Once the applet is installed and active, is there a way to keep it there permanently? I have checked settings in Google Drive, selecting "allow" for access to the applet. It's a bit annoying to have to go through the install of the applet each time.
