Using Thunderbird. Tried to see where the Help > Help contents link opens. Unfortunately, it does not open on the expected webpage with the immediate help link on 'How to ask a question'.

the link would then take the user to getsatisfaction/mozilla_messaging website. I use the link to instruct Thunderbird users on what to include when asking a question. Where is the page that contains this vital information?

The passwords are stored in key3.db and signons.sqlite files.

If you want get they, first show the hideen files and folders:

Then go to your profile folder:

In this folder you can see these files, if you want delete or move, etc one they close Firefox before.

Sorry Diego. Initially, i was just trying to see what on earth was going on with this website, as it was not behaving as expected. Obviously, it has been significantly updated. So I possed a question to see if I would be redirected to the getsatisfaction/mozilla_messaging website. Obviously no. Then I discovered that it is impossible to retract /delete an asked question. Not helpful, I can only edit the question, so I have edited the question.

If you know the link where I can tell people to read when they want to know what details need to be included, then I would be most grateful. The information will tell people what to include when answering a question:

this was the link: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/thunderbird#w_how-to-ask-your-question

there is no information on that page with regard to ' how to ask your question' so where has it gone? It instructes precisely what to include Help > Troubleshooting Information

I would also like to know why this forum says I posted a question today at 8.25am? The time was 4:25PM GMT.

Just struggling in here myself, the transition instructions were to say the least minimal (I did not even know it happened). Based on a thread on the mozilla support crew mailing list, it looks like a decision was made the article was obsolete. If you now subscribed the archives are not available, see https://mail.mozilla.org/private/tb-support-crew/

however I did find a copy of the article in the thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ask-tb But I have no idea how long it will be on that URL either.
