I just installed Firefox on a Windows 9 PC. One web-based application we use needs Java, which is installed on the PC. However, Java doesn't show up in the Firefox plug-ins list, and none of the troubleshooting tips at Mozilla support makes it appear there and work. The application requires Java 6 update 7, which is not the latest update.

FF will block old Java versions for security reasons.

Oh. The application specifies an older update of Java. Thanks.
