Hi,
You can use the Classic Theme Resoter add-on to make the new Firefox look like the old Firefox . It will also give you more customization options.

You can check the settings of the CTR extension via its Options/Preferences button on the "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" page.
Installing an addon to fix something is not something I'm willing to do. Firefox is heavy enough without addons.
None of the links provided any answers to my questions, nor the video.
Sorry. I guess I'll just have to manage with what I've got.
I'm just baffled Mozilla provides new functions but doesn't explain them. In the video for the new version, the guy talks about "how you can move a print button here if you print alot". Seriously? This is a new useful feature you want to spend time talking about? No it's not.
Sorry for the rant.
Additional problem: It would seem that F11 now hides your bookmarks toolbar, even if you move your mouse to the top of the screen. Therefore, playing Flash games with F11, means I can't exit full-screen by opening another site. I instead have to click into the google search bar, and then press F11, and THEN open another site.
What was 1 click before is now 3 clicks.

The new FF 29 is For Touch screen users with fat fingers and realy low power processors and no ram. Its not for desktop users with mouse and keyboard and 64gigs of ram. When you finish trying all the other options and find it still doesnt work your only option is to revery but give it a got and tell me if it worked for you or not. http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/28.0/win32/
fixed link for third time: If you are going to link to Firefox 28.0 make sure it is the release and not the Beta9 build of 28.0 which would also put you on Beta channel for testing.

Add code to the userChrome.css file below the default @namespace line to have the Bookmarks Toolbar visible in full screen mode.
@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */ #PersonalToolbar[moz-collapsed="true"][collapsed="false"] {visibility:visible!important}
The customization files userChrome.css (user interface) and userContent.css (websites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

The bookmarks being hidden when in the Full Screen mode, and not appearing when the cursor is moved to the top of the screen has been the default action going all the way back to Firefox 4.0; only the Tab strip and Navigation bar appears with the mouse being moved to the top of the screen.
Typically Flash "captures" the cursor and the user need to "click" to restore focus to the browser or hit a button like F11.
I doubt that it's been default since I don't really change anything from default and I've always had bookmarks toolbar when pointing up in F11.
ANYWAY, I FOUND A WONDERFUL WORKAROUND - It seems that in this version, if you go fullscreen with F11 and press Ctrl + Tab, you can change into the Flash application tab AND REMAIN FULL SCREEN, which was something you could not do before. Tested this with 2 flash games already.
Before, moving with Ctrl + Tab in F11 mode, if you moved into a Tab with a flash game, you'd never get full screen, instead the top of your browser would always show.
SO WOW, AN IMPROVEMENT. :)
