How to reset the default user agent on Firefox

Hi,
I need more information to help you with this. Can you do this for me please?

1. Type about:support in the address bar.
2. At the top of the page, you should see a button that says "Copy text to clipboard". Click it.
3. Now, go back to your forum post and click inside the reply box. Press Ctrl+V to paste all the information you copied into the forum post.

It appears your useragent is set to Firefox 6 which would cause the help website to show you this out of date warning. Please try the solution in the article that Phillipp recommended - How to reset the default user agent on Firefox.

Made the change. Went out of FF but when I came back in it was back to the previous value.

When I come back in I have to go into Safe Mode since the recent release rebroke gmail. Don't know if safe mode causes the value to revert.

Yep. Disabled FireGloves and all is well. I'm going to remove it. Thanks for your help
