Opening loads of blank pages when trying to download
When I try to down load a free ticket for the cinema when I press download loads of pages open one after the other and I have to close it down

You get tabs opening endlessly if you select the Firefox program to handle a file when you get an "Open with" dialog.
Make sure that you never select Firefox as the program to handle a file if you get a download dialog. Firefox wouldn't ask if it was possible to handle such a file.
