The crash Signature is new to Mozilla. Do you have this; CheckClean @ nsSocketInputStream Disable it.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode; Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by;
Windows; Tools > Options Linux; Edit > Preferences Mac; application name > Preferences
Then Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?
Then restart.
I have followed the steps and will now continue surfing the internet until something causes Firefox to crash again. Thank you for your help up to this point but I would like to know if any of my add-ons 'bad' and may be causing the problem?
Also, do you think this may have something to do with my graphics card which I understand is very weak?
You would need to have someone in the know check your graphics card.
When you ran Firefox in safe mode, was there any trouble?
When I ran it in Safe Mode there were no problems. I am now running in regular mode and if I have a problem I will post another reply. I'm going to test it for a while and get back if something happens.

Some crashes look like a network connection problem.
You can check the connection settings.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network : Connection > Settings
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Options+window+-+Advanced+panel
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
See "Firefox connection settings":
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Open your add-ons manager. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox. If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.
Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is detective.
Hi, I'd like to know something about these crash id's. Do they reveal any private information about the User or do they directly identify the User in any way? Firefox hasn't crashed again, yet. But I'll be sure to let you know if it does. As one of you mentioned, it may have been the internet connection, but we'll see.
@cor-el I appreciate your suggestion to use these various system scanners. However several of the ones you listed and specifically told me to use each one, are in fact malicious software. The only ones I use are Malwarebytes, Microsoft Security Essentials, CCleaner, and Microsoft Security Scanner. The others ones listed are either malicious software or in the case of Kaspersky, untrustworthy as it tends to monitor User activity and gather personal information. So thanks but no thanks.
I'd like to know something about these crash id's. Do they reveal any private information about the User or do they directly identify the User in any way? No personal information is collected. Only information about Firefox, it's add-ons, settings, what it was doing at the time. This is one of mine. Go ahead and look it over. https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-3aab3dd0-e757-42eb-97c8-5c8282140814
Thanks for answering my last question, I'm glad to know that my privacy is maintained. Anyway, I'm having other problems. One thing I noticed happens from time to time is that when Firefox is on, out of nowhere the sound of the entire PC stops completely and doesn't come back on until I close Firefox.
I want to reiterate that I have run Malwarebytes Threat Scan as well as Microsoft Security Essentials Full Scan in Safe Mode and it never finds anything. I also have installed the latest drivers for both my graphics and sound cards.
Also, I'm not sure if you guys have any information about this but I've recently gotten a BSOD for the ntoskrnl.exe, I think the problems may be related.

@FredMcD Thank you I'll be sure to look at those links.
Firefox's PID is showing as enabled under my CMD. According to a tutorial I saw on YouTube on how to remove viruses using the CMD, if a PID is enabled that means it is a virus that is monitoring your activity. What do I do about this? Why is Firefox showing up as a virus.
Try deleting some of the prefetch files! This has worked for some people and they never had issues again. I cant say it will work for you, but you can try. There is a link in my profile on here for the full details AND links to any source code for the scripts that i wrote so i don't get bashed by any moderators.
Also you do it manually in cmd prompt:
del C:\Windows\Prefetch\flashpl*.pf del C:\Windows\Prefetch\PLUGIN-CONTAINER*.pf del C:\Windows\Prefetch\firefox*.pf del C:\Windows\Prefetch\FLASHPLAYERUPDATESERVICE*.pf del C:\Windows\Prefetch\SILVERLIGHT*.pf
also try removing the actual flash files after an uninstall, b/c they might not be removed: ( windows 7 & 8 only )
del "C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\*.*" /s /q
rmdir "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash" /s /q
rmdir "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Flash Player" /s /q
rmdir "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player" /s /q
Can someone please explain to me why Firefox's PID is showing as enabled under my CMD when I type in the command netstat -ano. I'd appreciate an answer to this question thank you. If a PID is enabled that means it is a virus that is monitoring your activity. What do I do about this? Why is Firefox showing up as a virus.
@Carm I couldn't find any of the files you listed within my system. I don't really understand what you were referring to in the rest of your message however. Do you think you could elaborate please?
I haven't received a response to my last question, I'd appreciate some help. My Firefox is crashing, flash plugin is crashing, and I keep receiving blue screen errors. I don't have viruses or malware so I don't what's causing this.
