I just started using a new Windows 7 computer with Office 7 installed. I can no longer copy from any webpage opened in Firefox and paste into Word.

I can paste into email. Word to Word is OK. And copy from email and into Word is OK. But not from an opened webpage into Word.

Any help GREATLY appreciated!

In Word there should be an option to paste special. Edit > Paste Special > Unformatted text.

Does this vary from webpage to webpage?

I have this problem too. I can copy and paste in Word, Outlook, Excel, all other programs, etc. Can not find Edit>Paste Special> Unformatted Text. It's a Firefox problem not Word, etc.

I found Edit>Paste Special>Unformatted Text. It did not make any difference. This is a Firefox problem not a Word paste special problem.

This just all of sudden started.

it sure would be nice if Firefox had technical help that customers could call for help.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected at http://input.mozilla.org/, where a team of people read it and gather data about the most common issues.

Some web sites send a signal to browsers that disable paste and copy.
