Stored Data
facebook chat takes forever to load . but once it load even if i closed the page and re-open it it does open very fast and the chat load very fast . i can refresh the page as long as i want and it still open very fast but when i turn off my computer or do a restart . when i try to open the chat it takes forever one more time ... looks like firefox stored a data in my computer but after restarting my computer the date is gone i guess because the chat start to load very slow .. is there any way to keep the stored date . so i can still load the page fast ? is there anyway to save the chat page and re-open it at anytime without re downloading data so firefox can open facebook chat fast even after i do restart of my computer ? thanks

Hi RedhaRx. This may be managed by the site itself. However you can check to see if the facebook chat url has permissions to store cache on your computer. Configuration Options for System
Enable it from Right clicking on the page and selecting Page info. Click on Permissions and make sure "Maintain Offline cache" is allowed.
thanks you are very kind i tried to follow with the link you posted but i have a small problem . for example in the post they said
View or change the location of folders on the hard drive (IMAP folders only) Menu location: Edit | Folder Properties | General Information
where i can find those options ? firefox got a different options is this options from my computer ? or are they for an add on that controls the cash setting ? it would be great if you can lead me to the right way to configure my setting
i understand the part of " Enable it from Right clicking on the page and selecting Page info. Click on Permissions and make sure "Maintain Offline cache" is allowed " it was very helpful . thank you very much , Redha .
Hi RedhaRx, You are right, and I think those are instructions for Thunderbird, please ignore this mistake. However in Firefox by default the Menu no longer will show up in the new layout of Firefox since version 29. To turn these menus back on you can go to:
- Firefox Menu button,
- Click on "+Customize" on the bottom and Select on the bottom left "Show/Hide Toolbars" and select the menu.
That should show that menu.
