I have always had Firefox set to "Show my windows and tabs from last time" and set a home page for when I open Firefox. In the last day it will not save those settings. Now everytime I open Firefox it goes to Mozilla.org and the Firefox start page. I keep changing the settings in Tools\Options but each time I close the program it goes back to what it was.

Sorry for the disturbance occur sir, Here are some hints ,maybe helpful for you: 1. You need to use latest version of firefox i.e., 34.0 beta from here https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ and install it (if already using skip this) 2. Open firefox and goto open menu button at right most side of upper screen 3. You will find there a wheel like options button.Click on that. 4.Now in options panel , goto general tab in first. 5.you will find there When firefox starts at third line 6.Choose show my homepage from checkbox right there. 7.Now at 4th line paste your homepage link on textbox right side of homepage label. 8. Press ok button on corner of panel . 9.Close firefox completely even from taskbar tray menu. 10. Now open firefox again. You will now find your homepage at first.

Again, if you found any problem please send me mail.

Try to rename (or delete) the compatibility.ini file in the Firefox profile folder.

You can also check for problems with preferences.

Delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
