i got a new firefox update yesterday, and have not been able to play any games since, the game says update adobe flash, ive had an updated flash now for sometime, the old version is the problem i cant seem to get rid of it, the plugin page shows them both, if i hit never activate on the old then the newer version also says never activate

The cleanest method is to use Adobe's uninstaller to clear all Flash plugins and then install from scratch. This article has a link to the uninstaller: Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems.

The quick and dirty method would be to delete the .dll file by hand. On 64-bit Windows, you can find it here:

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

The plugins used by Firefox have this pattern to the file name:

NPSWF32_15_0_0_223.dll

So you would want to keep just the latest. If you don't find the earlier plugin there, you can look up its exact path using the about:plugins page. To load that page, type or paste about:plugins in the address bar and press Enter.
