How do i get rid of firefox update software firefox 35.0.1 pop up?
Firefox was working fine for me up to recently.
The moment i started getting the 'Software update' Pop ups for Firefox 35.0.1.
I DID NOT WANT TO UPDATE so just clicked the X and thought that it would no longer bother me but it CONSTANTLY comes up, something that never happened in the 7 years of using firefox.
It has also messed up YOUTUBE for me as now i have constant hang whenever i change from one youtube video to another, it hangs and means i have to close firefox down and restart it which is a total pain.
I finally relented and updated Firefox 35 but i still got the problem of the hang which was never there before so i have deleted Firefox 35 and have gone back to Firefox 34.0.5 although i still have the hang on Youtube videos.
How do i get rid of the 'Firefox pop up boxes'?
How do i fix the Hang on youtube vids?
As i mentioned before the 'Hang' only started from the time of the pop up boxes.

I seemed to have solved the problem.
I just updated my Flash player to the latest version and Youtube is now working okay again, no more hangs when i go from one Youtube video to another.
Just to add, the reason i didn't update before was like many other i've had many problems with Flash in the past so kept the version that worked fine for me.
I still feel the problem only arised due to the Firefox 35 constant POP UPS that started this problem in the first place and i'm sure many others will find the same problem in the coming weeks so i hope my solution will helps others too.

Thanks for getting back to me but not sure this has helped.
I have managed to get rid of the Firefox 35 update pop ups but it has meant turning off my updates completely so i'm not sure that's actually a solution.
Why are Firefox staff not dealing with this problem? they created it and yet just leave their users to go through constant problems.
I have used Firefox for 7 years and never had the problem of problem of 'Hang' playing Youtube videos and the problem only started once i started getting the Firefox 35 pop ups and at exactly the moment i had the first pop up, thats when i started getting 'Hang' almost every time i watch a Youtube Video.
It's the responsibility for Mozilla to at least offer a solution to this problem.
So far i have turned off my updates, Reset Firefox, upgraded to 35, downgraded to 34 and then 33 and it has not fixed the problem of 'Hang' on Youtube videos.
The rest of my internet browsing and video playing is fine and fast...the problem is just with Youtube.
I just want a real solution to this problem.
