Are you talking about the about:newtabs page?

Type about:config<enter> in the address bar. If a warning screen comes up, press the Be Careful button. At the top of the screen is a search bar. Type browser.newtab.url This tells Firefox what to show when a new tab is opened. If you want, right click and select Modify. You can change the setting to;

about:home (Firefox default home page), about:newtab (shows the sites most visited), about:blank (a blank page),

or you can enter any web page or about: page you want.

The same instructions are used for the new window setting, listed as browser.startup.homepage.

When using Internet explorer for a long time.. I told it to open my 4 favourite websites at once..

Can i do the same with Firefox.. It caused me regular fault-messages in my hotmail, guess because another site took to long to open.. ??

When opening a second 'page' or 'window'.. Firefox indeed goes to what i defined as 'startingpage', but URL is in fact too long.. It contains addresses from when i previously added 5 ' startingpages.. and causes problems.. When i open Firefox, it goes to hotmail.com, which is correct (my new starting page..) You can only open multiple home page by separating the URL with a pipe (|).

This doesn't work for the new tab page (browser.newtab.url).
