When uploading a file of size greater than 1.5 GB, upload does not work. Upload works for small sized file. Developer tools/Firebug does not display any progress for the upload request.

We have checked it on multiple computer. But, on the same machine, upload works with Internet Explorer 8.0 and Google Chrome.

Do you have any firewalls, content blockers, or antiviruses that might be limiting firefox.exe to do this?

It might be also possible to increase the max pipeline requests, but all this does is broaden bandwidth not limit. (about:config in a url bar and search for pipe and Look for: network.http.max-connections-per-server)

Yes, Affecting Machine has McAfee AntiVirus and McAfee firewall.

Also, It has been noticed that,

  • machine which does not have AntiVirus/Firewall, Upload is working well with firefox v37.0 for large file size of > 1.5 GB.
  • with firefox v38 Beta, Upload started working on same machine, for large file size of > 1.5 GB.

Tried to see the firefox v38's changes, but no related changes got noticed.
