Not downloading messages from a Gmail account

more options

Hi all,

On May 26 at 9 am, Thunderbird quit downloading all messages from one of my Gmail accounts (the others work fine). Since then, it's been downloading the same message over and over again but none of the others. When I log into Gmail on the web, I can see plenty of emails in my inbox and when I tell TB "get all," it indicates that it sees 100+ emails in the Inbox but it only downloads the one message!

I don't know if this is an issue with TB, with Gmail, or with LinkedIn (the origin of the one message that continually downloads -- I have 300+ copies of it now!) and I have tried every solution that matches anything close to what I'm experiencing and nothing works.

Thanks!

I will bet it is an issue with your anti virus! What do your use?

Try disabling email checking and I think your mail will flow again nicely.

That fixed it. Weird that it was only the one Gmail account, though. I'm using Avast! so I'll check their forums to see if this is a known issue with them.

Thanks!
