Hi,

When I log on to my master Comcast email account, it shows the emails from my secondary account instead of the emails from my main account. It happens on my Apple Desktop computer, but I don't have this problem on my Apple laptop as the two separate email accounts work as they should. I did try accessing the two Comcast email accounts using Safari on my desktop, and they do work properly. I tried resetting Firefox, restarting Firefox in the Safe mode, and clearing Cache and cookies. It seems like the Cache and cookies won't clear when I try to clear them, but not sure. I called Comcast, and they told me to clear Cache and Cookies (again), but of course the same problem occurs. Based on everything I told you, it does seem like a Firefox problem.

Please advise,

Thanks,

Bigfrog.

Hi Bigfrog, I understand when logged into two email accounts that the site displays the same content when switching between them. Since clearing the cache does not make a difference I would suggest two more troubleshooting tips:

  1. Firefox Safe Mode: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
  2. Try a new profile: Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data

Hi guigs, I did try restarting in the Safe Mode but the same problem occurs when I log into my email account, using the primary (master) accounts I get the emails from the secondary account. Not sure what you meant by using a new profile? Did you mean a new Email profile? Please advise.

Thanks for your help.
