I am currently installing Firefox on several machines and would like to have 2 plugins installed with the installation. At this point, we have to install Firefox, then go back and install the 2 plugins. There has to be an easier way. The plugins help our company content to load properly on the machines.

Oh boy, I see you don't have experience with this... ok you were almost there, once you paste the C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla folder you need to install firefox, firefox installs in C:\Program Files, and you're done, once firefox opens it checks for the contents of C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla and loads all the information there, addons, history, passwords, etc. In plain english there are 2 Mozila\Firefox folders, one in C:\Program Files and contains ONLY what needs to run firefox.exe, the other Mozila\Firefox is in your USER folder and contains your personal profile which has your plugins, addons, paswords, history, bookmarks, if you delete this folder once you run firefox it will create a new one and start from scratch, if you have this folder which you should have if you did the pasting in the new machine then when you install and run firefox it will the contents of that folder and run, its like cloning your current firefox into another machine, but you NEED to install firefox because it needs to add extra things to the registry and stuff BUT there is an alternative, if you want to have both these folders with no need to install anything, just copy and pasting then you need a Firefox Portable, that will work with 0 installation, will be a little slower to start but once opened will work as fast as one installed (depends on the drive its working, a hdd is fast, a usb stick is faster, a ssd us the fastest). If you still got issues don't forget to ask. If you go the firefox portable route then there are a lot of youtube videos that will show you how to do it or where to download it. Good luck.

Easy, if you're in windwos, get in %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile folder> run it in explorer or run cmd or in plain english C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming Replace MYUSERNAME with your name, if youre manually browsing in explorer you need to unhide hidden system folders in folder options Copy the mozilla folder and paste it in the new computer, now you have copied everything, bookmars, history, addons, settings and passwords. Beware of copying unless is a fresh instalation, you can also backup your old profile, make another- CAUTION: make sure Firefox is closed when manipulating these folders or won't properly copy/replace files

To automate this process Google how to make a .bat file to copy and replace the files.

There are two types of Add-ons. There are the Add-ons that you find and install. And there are also Plugins. These are from other programs that are on your system when Firefox starts. Like video players, anti-virus, and many more. You can disable normal Add-ons by going to the Add-ons Manager,

I tried this on a Windows 7 computer that doesn't have Firefox and it didn't seem to work. Is there a .exe file? I couldn't find one. Just not sure how that installs FF on a new machine. I had no problem following your instruction, so that part is fine. Thanks for helping,

Thanks for the help. I have been playing with portable for a couple hours and found my solution. Beats having to go around and install Firefox, then replacing the C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla folder on all 500 machines. You are correct about me not being experienced, but I really want to learn. Just don't have anyone that will teach except for Google. I did learn something today. Thanks once again.
