Why don't password (& other) changes, made in IE*, get reflected or recognized by Mozilla/Firefox??
I tried Several times to reset my Support password for Mozilla (after I finally got it to send confirmation, link resets, etc, to my email account... which I accessed thru IE*) - but neither through IE or* Firefox would the password change be recognized/accepted..! It took me a Few tries to copy the password reset link, sent to my IE email address, and Paste it into the Firefox browser, before the password change would actually Take*! Why is this so difficult..? Even with the email account "Synced" with the Mozilla/FF Options, and* signed in, there seems to be NO 'communication' between the Internet Explorer 'world' and the 'Firefox world'. I even tried using the PW listed in the Saved PW's list in Options/Security but the login failed every time... until* I copied the pw reset link into the FF browser address bar, and completed the pw change That way.
Maybe this will help someone else - - instead of causing a waste of 4 hours or so ...
Regards, Zac

You are talking about two separate programs. They do not share data in that way.
