permissions keep changing to block

I keep setting the permission for pandora.com to ALLOW but it changes to BLOCK by itself. I have to go to PRIVACY > USE CUSTOM SETTINGS HISTORY > EXCEPTIONS and delete the exception for pandora.com that shows BLOCK. It works perfectly for 20 minutes then Pandora pauses itself. Then I have start all over again. I've tried creating it as ALLOW but 20 minutes later, it pauses and is changed back again. Isn't there a way LOCK the permission so it stops changing to BLOCK?

Try to rename (or delete) the permissions.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all permissions.

I've tried that. I forgot to mention that the same thing happens on both of my computers. One, before and after a complete system reinstall and the other was a new computer.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that has effect.


Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
