Firefox for iOS + LastPass?

Just installed Firefox for IOS tonight. I was elated to see LastPass under the share button or whatever it's called.

Problem is, it does not auto fill. It asks me to copy the username or password.

I read on LastPass that this auto fill is dependent on the browser and how it reads the info back.

Is that something the devs are aware of or working on?

Works fine in Safari and Chrome both in the same manner. Just so excited to dump them in favor of the same browser I use on my tower- Firefox.

Thanks

Hi ledoktre, I do know that I can tell you to stay tuned for add on support, however I do not know for sure. I am surprised that the Last pass icon shows up, are you logged into last pass's site?

I do know that the auto correct for synced passwords *should* work. Can you confirm this if you use Firefox Sync?

I would not expect the add on to work in this first version. However once the the support for add ons comes in I would image they might want to work on it, give them a question as well in their add on support ;-)

Greetings.

Thanks for the reply. LastPass is probably one of the most important addons that I or anyone I work with use. It would be a HUGE benefit if we could use this.

Where LastPass shows up is under the share icon (http://flatfrogblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/share-ios7.png). I first enabled it through Safari, but have been able to turn on or off through Safari, Chrome and Firefox.

In Chrome and Safari both, when you browse to a site, you can hit the Share button, Last Pass, then it will show you the sites that apply. When you pick one, it goes back to the browser with those fields filled in.

On Firefox, if I hit the Share > Last Pass button, it brings up the appropriate sites to select from, but when you chose one, it lets you only copy the username and password individually - and according to them (I'll dig up a link here in a moment) is a sign the browser is not accepting or supporting the response from Last Pass.

I know that Firefox has a save password feature built in and on Sync, but the power behind Last Pass is cross browser, secure notes, auto fill, etc. So much more than just a password save.

It would be extremely powerful for this feature, and it should be a quick fix for someone who knows what they are doing.. :)

So technically its not an addon, LastPass is letting iOS users use LastPass via the Share button. Not as convenient as a native addon, but it works. Works flawlessly on Chrome and Safari- but unfortunately does not through Firefox. I dont understand the code but Im told it would be a simple thing on FF's part to resolve (how it interprits the share > LastPass response).

Thanks,

Sorry I didn't reply about the sync'd passwords working. I can try it - I dont use it because I store so much more in Last Pass than just passwords. Its nice to have everything in one place.

It seems a little tough to test it - since I ahve Last Pass installed. It doesn't let FF save passwords.
