详细了解

I want my saved passwords arranged NOT alphabetically as they have turned up since last upgrade to 42.0 but ordered by Last Saved, as they were before.

Kindly help me to get my passwords as they were before, listed in order they had been saved for a site where you have several profiles, like Gmail -- and changeable (you could delete one which was at the top and save it again and it would be at the bottom, so you could rearrange the order to the most logicval one).

Now we get this idiotic ALWAYS ALPHABETICAL order. It is ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS.

If it is not fixed in the next couple of days I am giving up Firefox after a decade and a half (I switched from Netscape) and will switch possibly to Opera (least probability of viruses) or Chrome.

Sorry, that is as a result of Bug that was filed in 2001-11-01 and recently fixed with a target of Fx42. Bug #107957 - Username sorting in the username dropdown autocomplete list. (password manager autocomplete) Now sorted alphabetically rather than as previously most-recently-used.

Why was it "fixed" this way? In fact it was not fixed but ruined.

This is derfinitely horrible and a reason enought to give up Firefox after many years.

I didn't want to, people get used to certain browsers and stuff, but it was even harder giving up on Netscape, my first and only browser from 1996 until I switched to Firefox in the early 2000s.

Sno now I just need to see if Opera or Chrome are better -- both have some advantages and some disadvantages -- but I am NOT going to use Firefox if passwords are not the way they should be and alphabetised instead as they are in this terrible crisis.
